Ocean Shores Police Arrest Two Following Thursday Morning Shooting Incident

OCEAN SHORES — On Wednesday morning, October 30, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m., officers with the Ocean Shores Police Department (OSPD) responded to reports of a shooting in the 700 block of Cardinal Avenue NE.

Per initial radio traffic from 911 dispatch, the original caller believed that one car was chasing another, shooting at it.  However, witnesses at the scene provided information about two vehicles seen fleeing the area. OSPD officers quickly located and stopped both vehicles, conducting felony traffic stops on each. Two adult suspects were taken into custody and later booked for Assault in the First Degree and Drive-By Shooting.

Authorities confirmed that, despite the gunfire, no victims were struck during the incident.

According to the Grays Harbor County Jail Register, DIXON, JESSICA AMBER, and MYERS, ANDREW COLE are both in custody for Assault 1 and Drive By Shooting

Officers from the Hoquiam Police Department, Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office, and the Washington State Patrol immediately responded to assist Ocean Shores officers. Their support was instrumental in safely apprehending the suspects and managing multiple crime scenes that quickly stretched OSPD’s resources.

“The assistance from these agencies was invaluable in helping bring this incident to a safe resolution,” said Sergeant Tony Vierra of the Ocean Shores Police Department. “We are grateful for their quick response and teamwork in protecting our community.”
