Ocosta, WA – July 31, 2025
The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is continuing to investigate the cause of a three-vehicle collision that occurred late yesterday afternoon on State Route 105 at Ocosta 6th Street.
According to the WSP incident report, a 2015 Dodge Journey driven by a 59-year-old man from Westport was traveling southbound on SR 105 when it struck a 2023 Toyota Tundra that had been stopped in the roadway. The Tundra was driven by a 37-year-old woman from Hoquiam. The reason for the Tundra’s stop was not noted in the report.
Following the initial impact, the Dodge Journey crossed into the northbound lanes, where it collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Colorado driven by a 47-year-old Aberdeen man.
The driver of the Dodge Journey and his 59-year-old female passenger, also from Westport, were transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. No other injuries were reported.
WSP confirmed that drugs or alcohol were not factors in the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
