Daytime road work ahead on US 12 between Elma and Oakville June 22-23

OAKVILLE – Daytime travelers who use US 12 will want to add extra travel time.

From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, June 22, and Tuesday, June 23, sections of the road will be reduced to one lane.

The lane reductions create work zones for Washington State Department of Transportation crews to repair asphalt in multiple locations.

Travelers can expect to encounter flaggers alternating traffic and stops of up to 15 minutes in both directions.
