The Ocean Shores Police Department was busy on Tuesday Jube 24th investigating and making two felony arrests one being a violation of a protection order and another for burglary and theft that spanned two cities.  

According to Sgt. McManus with the Ocean Shores Police Department at approximately 2:40 am, a resident in the 500 block of Dolphin Ave. NE reported that his son had been at the house, in violation of a domestic violence protection order. Responding officers found the suspect, a  38-year old man, sitting on the side of the road eating from a plate of food. The suspect’s father told officers that his son had been sneaking into the house at night and stealing food and money, and tonight he caught him in the house.

According to the Grays Harbor County Sheriff's Department, the human remains found in the north part of Grays Harbor County off of Donkey Creek Rd on May 26th have been identified as Nathan Loring.  

Grays Harbor County Coroner Kegel sent the remains to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office for examination and the remains have been positively identified as Aberdeen resident Nathan Loring.

The examination revealed that Loring died as a result of homicidal violence.

Loring was a 40-year-old white male and was reported as a missing person out of the Aberdeen Police Department in March of 2020.

Loring was last seen in south Aberdeen in late February.

Detectives from the Aberdeen Police Department and the Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office are working together to solve this case.

A 37-year-old Elma man was airlifted Wednesday morning after a collision between his motorcycle and a passenger vehicle just outside of Elma, 

The accident occurred on Wednesday morning June 17th at 4:44 am on State Route 12 and Buswell Road (Baseball Park Outside of Town).  The Elma man was riding on a 2005 Yamaha YZFR6 traveling westbound on SR 12 at a high rate of speed when he struck the rear of a 1996 Toyota Tacoma driven by a 69-year-old Tenino man and was ejected from the motorcycle. 

According to the report and witness comments to GHS the Elma man was wearing his helmet at the time of the incident, and the report indicated that alcohol and or drugs were not a factor in this accident.

The 37-year-old was airlifted to Harborview, and the last report we had gotten from comments on GHS was that his vitals were stable on arrival.  The cause of the accident has been determined by WSP to be reckless driving with Charges to the rider for reckless driving.

According to the Aberdeen Police Department a 51 year-old Aberdeen resident is in custody this morning after spray painting vehicles and businesses in downtown Aberdeen.

On Sunday at around 4:25 PM, Officers were informed of a female spray painting a building in the 200 block of E. Market Street. As Officers checked the area, they located several vehicles and businesses spray painted with the word, “snitch.” A female was located nearby carrying a cap to a spray can and Officers also observed that she had fresh paint on her finger that matched the color of paint on the vehicles and businesses. A witness also positively identified the female as the one observed spray painting one of the buildings.

According to a Washington State Patrol report, the accident which occurred on Friday afternoon June 12th afternoon at 12:11 occured on State Route 12 at Vance Ave which is 7 miles east from Elma on 12. 

A 2001 Kenworth Semi With One Trailer driven by a 32-year-old Onalaska man was traveling eastbound on SR 12 at MP 25 when it veered left into oncoming westbound traffic and struck a International Semi With 2 Tanker Trailers driven by a 63 year old South Prarie man.  The Kenworth Semi jackknifed blocking eastbound and westbound lanes of 12. The International then continued through a fence, two houses and a residential camper trailer.

The 32-year-old male driving the Kenworth was transported to St Peters Hospital in Olympia for his injuries with the 63-year-old International driver going to Summit Pacific for his injuries. 

Charges against the 32-year-old Onalaska man are negligent driving 2nd degree for the cause of the accident being innatention.
