10:07 PM: A Hoquiam police officer attempted to stop a black Hyundai Accent with Florida license plates in the 100 block of Lincoln Street.

According to radio traffic, the vehicle initially appeared to pull over several times but repeatedly returned to the roadway. Based on the driver's actions, the officer developed reasonable suspicion that the driver was impaired. The vehicle continued at low speeds, approximately 25 mph, while multiple officers responded to assist.

The vehicle eventually turned onto the SR 109 Spur. At approximately 10:17 PM, officers successfully executed a PIT (Pursuit Intervention Technique) maneuver, bringing the vehicle to a stop. Officers then worked to remove the driver from the vehicle.

The SR 109 Bypass was temporarily blocked to traffic while officers conducted their investigation at the scene.
