In September 2012 after launching a GH Scanner Fan page on Facebook, I opted to move the scanner page from my personal blog here to its own page. To keep things seperate from my personal life. This page plays host to our online scanners, news and blogs from our admin team (5 or more of us)
A bit about me, and the online scanner. I used to run a website called the Incident Broadcast Network. This website specialized in broadcasting police and fire agencies from across the country, and some others as well. Myself and a team of 8 others ran the site for almost 6 years. Unfortunately that came to a close in Feb 2010 due to finances, and life going other directions.
I still do broadcast my area, the Grays Harbor County area and surrounding area's through Broadcastify.
The main scanner broadcasted by Grays Harbor Scanner (ghscanner.com) is the East Grays Harbor feed. Other feeds displayed on our page is here are to help you get access to other feeds in the county and close to us. The East Grays Harbor Feed provides access to Grays Harbor County Sheriffs channel, Montesano PD, Elma PD, McCleary PD, Chehailis Tribal, Ocean Shores PD and Westport. It also broadcasts the fire frequencies for East county, Aberdeen and Hoquiam Fire and Mason County at times.
Best way to know difference between counties, Harbor = Grays Harbor, where as Radio is Mason County.
This feed (mine) does not include Aberdeen, Hoquiam, Cosmopolis (police) as our radio system is very weak and cant be reached in Montesano for the cities west dispatch. I currently display the player though for the West broadcast which primarily broadcasts Aberdeen, Hoquiam and Cosmopolis Police.
On a note, GH County SO Main and secondary can be low volume at times, and this is due to the narrow band conversion.
yes, we have changed the way our online scanners launch. By clicking the link above it will launch our online scanners page so that it can stay up while browsing our page, or other pages.
Make sure to take note on how to launch our online scanners - We made a change 3/19/2014. Locate the Online Scanners Block and click on the link to launch them in a new window.
